While Hobart is reviling in the infrequent appearance of the Mountain Tarn, Neck locals have been chatting about the sighting of a large dorsal fin slipping through the more frequent Neck lake. The oft seen lake is the stormwater overflow from Hawks Hill Highway. On the upside, these silly sightings will be a thing of the past once the new Neck highway crossing goes through solving the cancellation of events on and around the Hall and fairgrounds.
