Fundraising and Supporters

Meanwhile, ENACT has been busy raising further funds over the past twelve months. Through our two wine tasting evenings featuring Fred Peacock, the winemaker at Bream Creek Wines, our major raffle, and some fifteen community barbecues at Bunnings Mornington and Holts Mitre 10 in Sorell, ENACT members have raised over $15,000.

We thank and celebrate our generous donors for the raffle: Tassal, Rannoch Quail, Cameron Oysters, Osborne Helitours, DOO-Stay, Lufra Hotel and Apartments, McHenry Distillery, Cubed Expresso Bar & Food, Wild lsland Retreat, Choices Flooring, Holts Mitre 10 (Sorell), eloisemmmett.com, Port Arthur Lavender, The Pines Landscaping, and the 1830 Restaurant & Bar. Many thanks are due to the hard-working members of ENACT that contributed to these events, and the many businesses and wider community that supported them. Generous donations continue to roll in as well. See page 5 for our supporters rollcall. Unfortunately, our fundraising activities have now had to be put on hold due to the COVID-l9 restrictions on public gatherings. Bunning’s generously donated two $500 gift vouchers to ENACT to help offset the income lost when we had to cancel three barbecues scheduled to occur after the pandemic shutdown date, as they did for hundreds of other community groups throughout Australia.
